How to Build Your GVO Business
There are a number of ways and strategies that you can use to build your own business based on GVO Hosting.
In my view, the first, most critical need is for you to build your own website. This is the heart of your promotional system. Everything else you do will be to support your main website.

Blog type websites are all the rage now days. Why? Because they WORK!
The search engines love well constructed, content rich websites. I’ve found that WordPress sites are fairly easy to set-up and maintain. They are also easily optimized for good search engine ranking. The 2 most critical aspects for good rankings are:
- Unique, quality content in the form of multiple related articles regularly posted.
- Quality back links from other relevant sites.
Once you have your web site up and running, you need traffic. Not just any traffic, although some is better than none, but TARGETED traffic. Here are some ways to accomplish that. Keep in mind, these methods take some effort and will not skyrocket your prospects overnight. But with consistent progress, they will get you a stable stream of traffic.
Forum Marketing
Join 4 or 5 online forums that are directly related to internet marketing. Start participating regularly and directly. Don’t try to directly promote GVO. Most forums frown on this practice, and it can get you banned.
Post legitimate questions about the topics and subjects being discussed. If you have special knowledge about a particular topic, share your knowledge by answering other’s questions. You can also add additional comments to topics that interest you.
How does this build targeted traffic? Most forums will allow 1 or maybe 2 active links in the signature block. Use this space to provide a direct link to GVO, or direct them to your own website where you can capture their email information. As you are looking at the forums, take a look at how other respected posters may be promoting their own sites. Use what you learn to develop your own signature block.
You want to try and find active forums, with lots of users, and regular activity. A dead forum will not drive any traffic to you, and you’ll just be wasting your time.
Web 2.0 Marketing
Web 2.0 marketing involves using the social sites such as Facebook, Twitter, Youtube and others to get your message out there.
For Social sites like Facebook, Myspace, Twitter, create a profile and use it like a mini blog. You don’t want to market directly, as it can get your account closed down. Just like forum marketing, you just provide the content, and let the links sit there. This does 2 things for you. As people learn to Know, Like, and Trust you, thew will want to learn more about what you do. This practice also helps build quality backlinks to your site from other well ranked pages.
Video sites are another great way to attract attention. Post a short instructional video on Youtube that relates to GVO. This is easy to do as a GVO member, as your service includes Easy Video Producer. These videos will help pull in direct traffic and build quality backlinks.
Post Comments On Other Blogs
Look for blogs in your area of interest. In the case of GVO, you want to look for other sites that are discussing Internet Marketing, Network Marketing, Online Business or related topics.
What we are going to do here is “hijack” their blog by posting comments to their posts. Be careful though. Don’t spam the comment page. That’s likely to get your comment deleted out of hand. You want to comment in a manner that adds VALUE to the discussion. You are trying to promote yourself as another expert on the topic.
Since most blog comment systems will allow you to provide your web site URL as a link, you’ll find that you get many people that will click thru to your web site. This practice can also help build quality backlinks to your own site.
Article Marketing
Article marketing is a very successful way to promote your pages. However, it is probably one of the slowest methods we have talked about. It will work, but you must be regular in your efforts and most of all patient.
Initially, prepare 5 – 10 short, 300 to 500 word articles that relate to your topic. Make sure you pay attention to the keywords you are trying to target. Post them to Ezinearticles.com and GoArticles.com at a minimum. Much like forum posting and comments, you’ll be able to leave 1 or 2 links in the author resource box to get people to visit your site. There are other article sites out there besides these two. Over time, post fresh articles to these also.
It’s pretty important to try and make each of your articles unique. Posting the same article to multiple sites may get you penalized by the search engines. They may view this as duplicate content and down grade your rankings.
Distribute a Free Report
In any internet marketing, it has been shown that distributing a free report can build traffic. Most people want to get a feel for who you are and what kind of content you provide. A carefully crafted report that details ways to promote GVO will certainly grab people’s attention. But don’t give it away totally free.
Use a capture page to get them to give up their first name and email address. Make them “buy” your information with their information.
